The Pottery

Bartley Heath Pottery is run by potters Mick & Lesley Dixon and is situated in North Warnborough near Odiham in Hampshire. The Pottery is close to Junction 5 of the M3 between Hook & Odiham. The pottery was opened in 1974. We have a Showroom attached to our cottage and our workshop & kiln are in the garden to the rear. We work mainly in reduced stoneware but also make some Terracotta & Majolica. We use electric kilns for biscuit & earthenware firings and a gas kiln for the Stoneware which is glaze fired to 1260C.

Bartley Heath

Next to the pottery is the Bartley Heath Nature Reserve which is now owned & maintained by The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. There are some good walks from the pottery across the reserve. Almost opposite the pottery is The Lord Derby Public house which has good food & beer.

Local interest

The Basingstoke canal & King John’s Castle are within walking distance of the pottery and the historic town of Odiham is one mile away.
